As a devoted psychosocial rehabilitation counselor, I strive to enhance the lives of those facing various challenges. Growing up in the heart of southwestern Louisiana sparked my deep love for community service and support.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master of Education in Counseling from Southern University. In my journey as an educator and counselor across elementary, middle, and high school levels, I’ve had the privilege of guiding young people through the ups and downs of growing up. Working on the child study team allowed me to help students navigate their development and make informed choices as they transition to adulthood.

Counseling adults presents its own unique challenges, but I find immense joy in providing them with the skills and tools they need to thrive. My all-inclusive approach underscores the social, emotional, and environmental aspects that are crucial for overall health and happiness.

After a move to New York City, I briefly explored a successful career in fashion and modeling before embracing the rewarding roles of wife and mother. In search of a calmer lifestyle, my family and I relocated to New Jersey, where I earned a second Master’s degree in School Library Media from Seton Hall University. This program allowed me to dive into research, literature, technology, and mental health of individuals.

As a Media Specialist and counselor, I’m dedicated to meeting the needs of my community, providing counseling and support to those eager to reclaim their lives and flourish in their environments. My mission is to make a positive impact, one person at a time.

When I’m not working, I treasure time with my family, especially my grandchildren. I love introducing them to nature through visits to parks and museums, and we enjoy traveling to explore different cultures and cuisines. I’m also passionate about STEM mentoring, dedicating time to help students achieve their academic goals through collaboration.

After many years in the Northeast, I’m happy to be back to my roots and humble beginnings. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the honor of counseling individuals from diverse backgrounds, and I remain committed to fostering resilience, life skills, and social integration for everyone I serve.
